The PHONE: Anyone in crisis can call THE PHONE, 924-3900 to talk with a trained counselor. THE PHONE is available 24/7 to provide free and confidential crisis counseling to callers.

Survivors Services

The Survivors of Suicide Program (SOS) offers ongoing support to survivors of suicide, those who have lost a loved one to suicide. The SOS support group meets weekly and provides survivors with a safe place to share their feelings, thoughts and memories about the person they have lost to suicide.

 

LOSS

The Local Outreach to Suicide Survivors (LOSS) program provides immediate support to suicide survivors as close to the time of death as possible. LOSS team members are activated by the EBR Parish Coroner's Office or Police when a death by suicide occurs in our parish. While at the scene, the LOSS team can provide support, and information about resources available to them through the Center.

 

Crisis Response

The Center offers Postvention support for bereaved family, friends, co-workers, and professionals who have been impacted by a tragic death or traumatic event.
