Mathematics

Southeastern's Mathematics program gives students the opportunity to develop their analytical thinking, quantitative reasoning and problem-solving skills, preparing them to succeed in graduate school or in a variety of careers in business, industry, government or teaching. Students in the program develop computational skills using a variety of scientific software and technology; enhance their communication skills allowing them to access, disseminate and analyze mathematical information; and receive a well-rounded introduction to the main branches of modern mathematics, maintaining an appropriate balance between theoretical and applied mathematics.
