Conflict Isn't a Dirty Word: How to Manage a Conflict Constructively

We all deal with DIFFICULT people and situations in life, and "you can't win 'em all," but there are some helpful practices you can employ to manage your relationships with others in a constructive way. We will explore what conflict is, suggestions on how to use it to your advantage, and practice changing our language choices in order to appropriately express our feelings and get more direct responses and results from others in our lives.

This session is being hosted by Ms. Fay Boudreaux, an alumna of Southeastern and an instructor in the Department of Communication and Media Studies. She teaches communication pedagogy for aspiring teachers, interpersonal communication, and a range of public speaking courses.
