    Denise Mano Caboche Endowed Scholarship 
    The scholarship was established by Antoinette and Arthur Poole in loving memory of Antoinette’s sister, Denise, a ‘72 graduate in Accounting at Southeastern. The scholarship supports a student in any major.

    Dallas LaRoy and Helen D. Calmes Memorial Scholarship in Marketing
    The scholarship was established by Helen J.K. Calmes in memory of her  late husband Dallas LaRoy Calmes.  Mr. Calmes was a native of Independence, Louisiana and it was his desire to establish the scholarship at Southeastern.  She further endowed it with a bequest in her will.  The scholarship benefits a student majoring in Marketing.  

    Wilbur Carlisle Endowed Scholarship in Athletics (Football) 
    The scholarship was established by Wilbur Carlisle ‘41, a former SGA President and  football player.  He was also named to Southeastern’s Athletic Hall of Fame.  The scholarship was also supported by his nephews, Jimmy and Bobby Maurin.  It benefits a Southeastern football player.

    Ann Kowalski Carruth Scholarship in Nursing
    Dr. Ann Carruth ‘84, Dean of the College of Nursing and Health Sciences and a graduate of the Southeastern’s nursing program was the first in her family to obtain a college degree, and did so through scholarships and working while in college.  Her goal for this scholarship is to support a nursing student who truly needs financial assistance in order to continue their education at Southeastern.  

    Charles C. “Charlie” Carter III Endowed Scholarship in Business 
    Jay Carter ‘84 and his wife, Dina Carter ‘77 established the scholarship in memory of Jay’s brother, the late Charlie Carter. Jay remembers his brother as an outgoing and engaging man with many friends. In one of the last graduating classes from Southeastern High School, Charlie Carter will forever be remembered through the financial support this scholarship provides students majoring in business. 

    Helen Bridges Carter Endowed Scholarship in Education 
    Helen Carter ‘60 devoted over thirty years to public education. She was an educator and an administrator at the high school and technical college level, serving on the advisory boards of the Louisiana Technical College, Florida Parishes campus and the Greater Capital Area, Region 2. She was a managing partner of Carter Bridges, LLC., and held memberships with the Louisiana Retired Teachers Organization and the Louisiana Forestry Association. Her husband, the late Judge Burrell Carter, a former member of the Southeastern Foundation Board, endowed the scholarship in his wife’s honor and in support of students transferring to Southeastern from one of the Louisiana Community and Technical College System schools.

    Ruth C. Carter Endowed Memorial Scholarship in Mathematics 
    The scholarship was endowed with gifts from the friends and family of Ruth Carter, who at one time served as the Registrar of the University. It benefits a student majoring in Mathematics Education.

    William Hodding Carter Endowed Scholarship 
    An award was established in the early 1990’s by Mrs. William Hodding Carter Jr. for a junior student from Tangipahoa parish of high academic standing and leadership at the University and in the community. In 2005, her son, William Hodding Carter, III fully endowed the award as a scholarship with funds from the Hodding and Betty Carter Family Foundation. William Hodding Carter, Jr. was a New Orleans journalist and publisher who also ran a newspaper in Hammond.  He later moved the family to Greenville, MS.  His son, William Hodding Carter, III followed in his father’s footsteps in Greenville and also became well known in Democratic political circles. He is best known for being Assistant Secretary of State for Public Affairs during the President Jimmy Carter administration.  

    Charles Emery Cate First Generation Endowed Scholarship 
    Charles Emery Cate played an instrumental role in creating the city of Hammond.  Moving to Hammond just prior to the Civil War, he established a sawmill, shoe factory, brickyard and the Hammond Building and Loan Association.  The scholarship was established in his memory by Stan Dameron, a descendant of Charles Emery Cate. Stan has a long history in banking and also serves on the Southeastern Foundation Board of Directors.  The scholarship benefits a first generation student majoring in Business.

    Catha-Lambert Endowment for Music 
    The scholarship was established with gifts from  Ms. Norma Lambert, in her and her sister’s last names.  Norma Lambert taught in Tangipahoa parish for 41 years and was the first curator of the Camp Moore Museum.  Her sister Eunice Lambert Catha worked in the Louisiana State Legislature for 48 years. They were active in their communities and in historical work in the State.  The scholarship supports  a student majoring in music who is from the Florida Parishes.

    Dr. Patsy M. Causey Alternative Certification Scholarship 
    The scholarship provides financial assistance to a Southeastern student who holds an undergraduate degree and is seeking to qualify for a state teacher certification. Dr. Causey served Southeastern for three decades serving in the positions of Director of Women’s Housing, Dean of Women, Dean of Student Life, Dean of the College of Basic Studies, and Vice President for Student Affairs. After retiring, Dr. Causey went on to lead the Golden Lions Alumni group and was a founder of P.R.I.D.E., a support and mentoring group for members of the Southeastern women’s basketball team.

    Central Progressive Bank Endowed Scholarship in Athletics (Football) 
    The scholarship was established by the Board of Directors of the bank at the time that football returned to Southeastern’s campus. It benefits a Southeastern football player.

    Joel Champagne Endowed Scholarship in Athletics 
    The scholarship was established by Joel Champagne when he served as a member of the Southeastern Board of Directors. The scholarship is for a football player who resides in an area served by Joel’s business, Champagne Beverage.

    Mary Lou Champagne Endowed Scholarship in Dance/Theatre 
    William Champagne ’52 established the endowment  in honor of his wife, Mary Lou, who attended Southeastern in 1946-1947 and who was a dance instructor, sharing her talents with generations of children in the Slidell/Pearl River area. The scholarship is for a student who is studying Dance/Theatre.

    Dr. Davis E. “Sonny” Chandler Endowed Scholarship in Athletics (Football) 
    The scholarship was established by  Sonny ‘56  and his wife Marion Ruth Kidder Chandler. Dr. Chandler was a lifelong resident of Hammond where he practiced dentistry from 1960 until his retirement in 1998. Both Sonny and Marion Ruth loved Southeastern Football and were excited and supportive of its return to campus. 

    Leroy and Elsie Chenevert Memorial Scholarship in Athletics (Football) 
    The scholarship was established by former southeastern football player, Bobby Chenevert ‘77 to honor his parents.  It benefits a current Southeastern football player.

    Randy Cheramie Memorial Endowed Scholarship in Mathematics 
    Randy was a student at Southeastern majoring in Mathematics when he was involved in an accident. The scholarship was established in his memory by his father and mother, Philip and Goldie Cheramie, and later further endowed by his mother.  The scholarship and benefits a Mathematics major who has successfully completed 30 semester hours and is involved in service, especially to the Mathematics Technology or Tutoring Lab. 

    Roger Chustz First Generation Endowed Scholarship 
    Roger Chutz was a 1962 graduate in Speech Education. He grew up in Hammond and attended Southeastern Lab School. Roger worked for the State of Louisiana, Department of Social Services for over 30 years and this scholarship was established through a bequest.  The scholarship is for a first generation student and a portion of the funds were provided by a State Board of Regents matching gift.

    Citizens National Bank Endowed Scholarship in Business
    The Board of Directors of Citizens National Bank established the  scholarship to provide financial assistance to a student majoring in Business from Tangipahoa Parish, Albany, Springfield or Holden.

    City Club of Hammond Endowed Scholarship 
    The scholarship was established in 1989 by the club. It  benefits  a full-time student who is a resident of Tangipahoa Parish with 30 or more college credit hours.

    The Bill and Katherine Clark Endowed Scholarship in Education 
    Bill Clark  retired as Professor Emeritus of Special Education at Southeastern after 22 years of teaching.   Katherine “Katie” Clark held a master's degree in education from Southeastern Louisiana University and taught for more than 30 years in Tangipahoa Parish, retiring from the Southeastern Lab School and later returning to supervise Southeastern student teachers. The scholarship was established by their son, Roger Clark, a former Southeastern Foundation Board member, to provide financial support to a graduate of a Catholic High School.

    Clausen Family Endowed Scholarship 
    The scholarship was established by Sally Clausen, former President of Southeastern and  the UL System along with contributions from family and friends of the Clausen family.  It honors Dr. Clausen's mother, Nell Wilkes Clausen, brother Tom Clausen who was a former Superintendent of Education for the State of Louisiana, and sister-in-law, Gale Clausen Anderson. The scholarship provides tuition assistance to a Southeastern student. 

    Clausen Family First Generation Scholarship 
    The scholarship was established by former Southeastern President and UL System President, Dr. Sally Clausen and is for a first generation student pursuing a degree in Education, Nursing or Business.  A matching gift from the State Board of Regents assisted in funding this scholarship. 

    The Marguerite and Carroll Clement Endowed Scholarship in Education 
    Carroll Clement was employed for over 50 years in the field of education, serving as principal in a number of area schools. He also taught GED at the Hammond Technical School.  His wife, Marguerite Clement  ‘48, ‘70, was also an educator and taught in the Tangipahoa parish schools for 33 years.  After retirement,  she became a supervising teacher at Southeastern.  The scholarship was established by their son, Brad Clement ‘79 to honor his parents and is for a student graduating from any Hammond high school pursuing a degree in Education. 

    Coaches Memorial Scholarship in Football, Red Stick Chapter 
    Each year, the Red Stick Alumni Chapter and former football players host a golf tournament to honor former coaches and to raise funds for the scholarship.  It is awarded to a student who is a member of the Lions football team. 

    CoBank Endowed MBA Scholarship 
    CoBank is a cooperative bank serving agribusinesses, rural infrastructure providers and Farm Credit associations throughout the United States. When serving on the CoBank board of directors, Southeastern Business Alumnus Richard ‘Dickie” Sitman directed philanthropic resources to fund this scholarship in support of Southeastern MBA students.

    The College of Education Senior Scholarship 
    The scholarship was established with contributions from current and former faculty of the College of Education to provide financial assistance  to a student who is enrolled in the College of Education and who has successfully completed 90 credit hours.

    Colonial Pipeline Settlement, St. Helena Parish, Scholarship in Athletics 
    The scholarship was established with funds directed to the University as part of a settlement. It benefits Southeastern athletes from St. Helena Parish.  

    Henry Earl and Carol Corkern Endowed Scholarship 
    Earl Corkern ‘54 was a Professor Emeritus of Mathematics at Southeastern and member of Phi Kappa Phi.  His wife, Carol Farlow Corkern ‘56 established the scholarship and retired from teaching at the Southeastern Lab School.  The scholarship benefits a student who has junior status and is a member of the Phi Kappa Phi honor society. 

    Walter Corkern Scholarship in Chemistry 
    Dr. Walter Corkern was Professor Emeritus of Chemistry, retiring after teaching at Southeastern for 37 years. The scholarship was endowed with gifts from the Department of Chemistry and Physics, and friends of Dr. Walter Corkern.

    Christin Claire Cosby Endowed Scholarship 
    The scholarship was established in 1999 by Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Cosby in loving memory of their daughter Christin Claire Cosby. Christin started at Southeastern in Fall of 1996. In 1998, an  accident took her life just one week before her 20th birthday. Christin was an active student and cheerleader at Live Oaks High School in Watson, Louisiana. The scholarship is intended for a full-time incoming freshman that is a graduate of Live Oaks High School.

    Steve Cosse/Murphy Oil First Generation Endowed Scholarship 
    The scholarship was established by Southeastern graduate and former President of Murphy Oil, Steve Cosse ‘69.  It was established in 2012 when Mr. Cosse was recognized as the Southeastern Alumnus of the Year.  The scholarship provides financial support to a first generation student.  A portion of the funds to establish this scholarship were provided by a matching gift provided by the Louisiana State Board of Regents. 

    Elliott Courtright Family Endowed Scholarship in English
    Mr. Courtright ’67 graduated  from Southeastern and  majored in Government and was a member of the track and field team from 1965-1967. He retired from Exxon Mobil after many years in their legal department and later served as the Associate Director of the National Pursuit Resource Center in Austin, Texas.  His son, Elliott Courtwright, Jr. ‘99,  ‘02 also attended Southeastern receiving undergraduate and graduate degrees in English. The scholarship was endowed by Mr. and Mrs. Courtwright, with a matching gift from ExxonMobil, to support a student majoring in English.

    Lavon and Nina Crain Endowed Scholarship 
    The scholarship was established by University President Dr. John Crain ‘82, ‘84  and his siblings in loving memory of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lavon Crain. The purpose of this scholarship is to provide financial assistance to a full-time student, preferably from Washington Parish, who is also a first generation student. 

    The Leona Colmer Crawford & First Presbyterian Church of Ponchatoula Endowed Scholarship in Music 
    Leona Colmer Crawford taught music and piano in Ponchatoula, Louisiana. The scholarship was endowed with proceeds from an estate gift of property left by Ms. Crawford to the First Presbyterian Church of Ponchatoula. It was Ms. Colmer’s desire that proceeds from the sale of the property be used to establish a scholarship for a Southeastern music student who is a resident of Tangipahoa Parish.

    Coach Larry Crow Endowed Scholarship 
    The scholarship was established by former track athletes who were coached by him, by Coach Crow himself and by friends. Larry Crow was the track and field coach at Southeastern from 1969 to 1979 and  coached the team to the 1075 National Championship.

    Florence Cryer & Florice Smith Endowed Scholarship 
    The scholarship was established by Bruce Smith ‘85 and his sister, Phyllis Vernon ‘78, ‘05 to honor their grandmother and mother.  The scholarship benefits a student who graduated from a public high school in Tangipahoa parish, with a preference for  Sumner High School where their mother and grandmother had worked.

    Cumberland Heights Collegiate Recovery Endowed Scholarship 
    The Cumberland Heights Foundation established this endowed scholarship to provide financial assistance to a deserving Southeastern student who is in recovery for substance abuse and is participating in the LION UP Collegiate Recovery program.

    Jesse H.and Dixie Varnado Cutrer Endowed Scholarship 
    The scholarship was established by the children of Jesse and Dixie Varnado, Margaret Kitcheens ‘40, Dr. Clyde Cutrer and Carl Cutrer ‘42 in their parents’ memory.  It supports a student from Washington parish.
