Upward Bound Memorial Endowed Scholarship 
The scholarship was established through contributions from a number of interested individuals. It benefits a Southeastern student who is an active participant of the Upward Bownd program.

Thomas A. Utsey, Jr. Memorial Scholarship in Industrial Technology
Thomas Utsey Jr.  earned his degree in Industrial Technology from Southeastern in 1982. The scholarship in his memory was established by his mother, Lucianne Carmichael. The scholarship will provide financial support to a student majoring in Industrial Technology.

Peter Valenti Endowed Scholarship in Athletics (Football) 
The scholarship was established by Jack Gautier who played football for Southeastern in ‘65 and ‘66 and his wife Sue Gautier ‘79 in memory of their friend Pete Valenti ‘74.  Pete coached at Hammond Junior High and St. Thomas Aquinas High Schools in Hammond.  The scholarship benefits a southeastern football player.

David Venable Endowed Scholarship in Athletics (Football) 
The scholarship was established by former football player David Venable who played for the Lions from 1964-1967.  It supports a Lion football player.

Anthony Jude Vergona Endowed Scholarship 
The scholarship was established by his parents, Anthony and Kay Vergona.  Anthony Jude Vergona ‘90 was a remarkable young man who graduated with a degree in Art  in spite of a disabling physical disability.  The scholarship benefits a student with a permanent or long term physical disability.

D. Vickers Memorial Scholarship 
Dovie “D” Vickers was among the most influential figures in the early history of Southeastern. Vickers served as Department Head of English until her retirement in 1956. She and four colleagues formed the first instructional staff of Hammond Junior College, teaching Science, Mathematics, Psychology, Education, Sociology, French, History, Music, and Art. As the first librarian, Vickers oversaw 200 volumes. With characteristic determination, she raised $1,000 through small donations; and with that, by the end of the college's second year, she was able to expand the collection to 2,60 volumes. The scholarship is awarded to a student majoring in English.

Jacqueline Heintz Viener Endowed Scholarship in Education 
The scholarship was established by her husband,  Harry E. Viener. Jackie ‘66, ‘71 earned her undergraduate and a graduate degree in Education from Southeastern. She taught English and French in the Hammond and Ponchatoula public schools. The scholarship will provide financial assistance to a Southeastern student majoring in English or French Education.
