Garth Kiepper will speak in the Envoc Innovation Lab, Room 2026, Computer Science Technology Building (801 N. Oak Street), Southeastern Louisiana University and via Google Meet.
Garth Kiepper is a cybersecurity professional in the insurance industry who holds several certifications relating to cybersecurity & systems administration. He graduated with honors from Southeastern Louisiana University with a bachelor's degree in Computer Science. Previously, he worked for Southeastern's Office of Technology for five years in systems engineering and information security. Garth has also been involved in multiple software startups developing and securing APIs and their underlying infrastructure & microservices across cloud environments.
Justin Obney

Justin Obney will speak in the Envoc Innovation Lab, Room 2026, Computer Science Technology Building (801 N. Oak Street), Southeastern Louisiana University and via Google Meet. The lecture is free.
Obney is the CTO of Paystar, a payment processing start-up based in Baton Rouge. He is responsible for all engineering needs of the business, which serves hundreds of clients across more than 33 states. Obney has over 14 years of professional experience in environments, including consulting shops, enterprise IT departments, and SAAS product companies. He is also the CTO and co-founder of Elevator3, where his primary focus is unblocking development challenges and improving the company's infrastructure.

Hebah Saleh will speak in the Envoc Innovation Lab, Room 2026, Computer Science Technology Building (801 N. Oak Street), Southeastern Louisiana University and via Google Meet.
Hebah Saleh is a Product Owner at Elevator3 with various backgrounds in software development, business management, and graphic design. In 2014, she received a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with an Economics concentration. Over the next eight years, her experiences led to her interest in website design and development. In 2018, Hebah returned to Southeastern to pursue a Computer Science degree and become a software developer. Before graduating, she landed a software development internship that eventually led to a position at Elevator3, where she has been able to combine her love for programming and business processes.

Tyler Becker is a Software Development Engineer in the Device, Digital and Alexa Support organization at Amazon. He graduated from Southeastern in 2017 with a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science in the Science concentration. He has experience in the Health, Defense and Oil and Gas industries. In his spare time he likes to make hobby video games and take care of his two cats.

Seth Champagne graduated from Southeastern in 2017 with a double major in Mathematics and Computer Science. He has worked for the US Naval Research Laboratory as a Computer Scientist since 2015 and specializes in Geospatial Information Systems (GIS). He is currently completing a Master’s in Southeastern’s ISAT program with a concentration in data science. He enjoys long distance running, watching anime, and has a cat named Graham.

Shubhangi Rastogi spoke via GoogleMeet (live viewing in the Envoc Innovation Lab, Room 2026, Computer Science Technology Building, Southeastern Louisiana University).
Shubhangi Rastogi is an experienced researcher with a demonstrated history of working
in the
higher education industry. She is pursuing her PhD from Punjab Engineering College
(PEC), India and also working as a data science intern in The Logically Advanced R&D,
United Kingdom. She is currently working on automated fake news detection concerning
National security and Politics. She has worked on various data science projects with
different government and private organizations. Her research interests are Data Science,
Social Media Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Natural Language Processing, Applied Machine
learning, Statistical Techniques, Data mining and visualization, Predictive modelling,
Big Data Analytics, Information warfare. Also, published ten research papers in different
international journals and conferences. Recently, one of her papers was published
in an SCI-indexed Journal, Cybernetics & Systems (Taylor and Francis) which was based
on the visualization of Twitter sentiments on Kashmir territorial Conflict. She has
also worked as an assistant professor for more than five years in different engineering
colleges in India. She was invited as a keynote speaker in AL-Azhar university, Egypt
in 2019.
