Executive Branch

The Executive Branch is led by the President of SGA, Baileigh Picou.

This branch is comprised of the Executive Cabinet which focuses on broad issues and initiatives such as: SGA finances, marketing, media, event planning, and engaging with students, alumni, and the community.  Two of the main projects of the Executive Branch are Homecoming Week student activities and The Big Event.




 2022 - 2023 SGA President

Baileigh Picou

Baileigh is a Junior General Studies major with a minor in Marketing.

As SGA President, Baileigh leads the Executive Branch and oversees all general functions of SGA.




2022 - 2023 SGA Chief of Staff

Lacey Johnson

Lacey is a Sophomore Marketing and Business double-major.

As Chief of Staff, Lacey oversees the day-to-day operations of the Executive Branch and acts as

second-in-command to the SGA President.



Brenna Stamper

Director of Financial Affairs 

Brenna Stamper

 Brenna is a Freshman Art  major.

As Director of Financial Affairs, Brenna keeps detailed records and gives reports to all
branches of SGA on the funds and accounts managed by SGA.




Director of Internal Advancement

KeRon Jackson 

KeRon is a Senior English Literary Analysis major. 

As Director of Internal Advancement, KeRon provides training and support to all
members of SGA to help them effectively perform their roles. 



  Director of Programming and Special Projects

Kaylee Canady 

Kaylee is a Senior Business Administration major.

As Director of Programming and Special Projects, Kaylee develops, plans, and produces

various events such as SGA Open House, SGA Tailgating, and free bus trips

                                 for Southeastern students to selected away games.




 Director of Traditions

Zachary Poche 

 Zachary is a Senior History major.

As Director of Traditions, Zachary is responsible for coordinating committees and plans 

for large-scale traditional SGA events such as Homecoming, the Winter Bonfire

and The Big Event.




Executive Assistant to the President

Sarah Stroyewski

Sarah is a Sophomore Middle School Education major. 

As Executive Assistant to the President, Sarah is responsible for assisting the SGA

President with speeches, appearances, and meetings, among other duties.




Co-Director of Communication & Marketing

 Thais Lindemayer Gomes

Thais is a Graduate Student in the Health and Kinesiology program.

As Co-Director of Communication and Marketing Thais is responsible for jointly overseeing

SGA's graphic design work, social media, and marketing.




Co-Director of Communication & Marketing

 Kylie Sutphin

Kylie is a Freshman Art major.

As Co-Director of Communication and Marketing Kylie is responsible for jointly overseeing

SGA's graphic design work, social media, and marketing.




 Director of Public and Governmental Affairs

The Director of Public and Governmental Affairs is responsible for advising the

SGA President on Government-related issues and building and maintaining

relationships with local government entities.

Kayla Edwards

Kayla is a Freshman Biology major. 

As Director of Outreach and Recruitment, Kayla is responsible for SGA tabling at any events,

developing relationships with student organizations, and increasing SGA membership.
