School of Nursing

 

 Southeastern's School of Nursing is recognized as a leader in the preparation of nurses. We offer undergraduate (BSN) and graduate degrees (MSN) , including a doctor of nursing practice (DNP) degree program.

At the undergraduate level, we offer a traditional degree program, an accelerated option for students with a prior bachelor's degree, an LPN to RN, and RN to BSN options. 

Specialty concentrations are available for advanced practice at the master's level, as well as preparation at the highest level of nursing practice with the DNP.

The baccalaureate degree program in nursing and the Doctor of Nursing Practice program at Southeastern Louisiana University are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (http://www.ccneaccreditation.org). The master's degree program in nursing at Intercollegiate Consortium for a Master of Science in Nursing (Consortium of McNeese State University, Nicholls State University, Southeastern Louisiana University, and University of Louisiana at Lafayette) is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education, 655 K Street, NW, Suite 750, Washington, DC 20001,202-887-6791.
